American Warrior Initiative 2014

In 2014, Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation sponsored 22 Certified Military Residential Specialist Boot Camps around the nation – educating, training, inspiring real estate, title and mortgage professionals to give back in some way to the true heroes of America – our service men and women. And whether it was a business grant to Benjamin Lunak, a mortgage free home to Tony Garrett and Crystal Garrett, windows for a veteran in North Carolina (thank you, Angela Ayers Allen and Dan Coggins for your help), or furnishing a home for a wounded hero – the employees and branch managers of Fairway stepped up and GAVE – abundantly – sacrificially.

Remember – none of us can do everything – but everyone can do ONE THING!

Thank you, Sean Parnell, for your passion to give back to our wounded heroes by traveling around the country with Fairway to inspire and motivate Americans to find that ONE THING and do it!

Check out the video – YOU JUST MIGHT BE IN IT! A Year in Review of Fairway’s American Warrior Initiative – thank you Ryan Welch and Ryan Rossman for your excellent videography!’

  1. Louise –

I had an engaging luncheon conversation with Brad Dragoo today. He and I are scheduled to visit the Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio 28 June at 1130 hours. Might you join us?

    • I’ve been thinking a lot more about this lately. The last couple of weeks I’ve been reading a book that’s more than 700 pages long and at times I struggle to enjoy it and not stress about being so damned unproductive.Apparently the average American watches almost 40 hours of TV a week. How could anyone do that?!

    • Have you ever considered creating an e-book or guest authoring on other blogs? I have a blog based on the same information you discuss and would really like to have you share some stories/information. I know my visitors would enjoy your work. If you are even remotely interested, feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

    • I am quite intrigued to see what the surface with windows 8 pro is like – and what the pricing is.Though if Google announce the nexus 10 tomorrow then I probably won’t be waiting around for 90 days to find out about the surface pro

    • WOW, I like all of your work, but this one, yippee! I just love it. I look forward to your tutorials everyday. Wish that you could do a video so we could see you in action. That would be almost as good as being able to take one of your classes. Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Anyone notice how Sookie referred to Eric as her vampire husband again? Also, I’m a little worried since the person who posted it said that she had lost interest in Eric and didn’t know what Sookie saw in him since he’s so manipulative. She liked the book and thought Sookie seemed back to her old self so it leaves me wondering whether this person is happy because Sookie is moving away from Eric or happy that CH has restored her faith in Eric? Something tells me it’s the former…    0 likes

    • You may be correct. Styles, tastes, and standards do change over time.In any case, the collection of recordings does not appear to be curated with respect to performance quality—rather, it is a collection based on historical interest. The differences between these performances and modern ones (positive, negative, or neutral) are part of what makes these recordings so interesting to me.Â
